A Vinyl Collector/DJ/Organizer born and raised in Lima-Peru. DJ MIKE discovered his love for music at a very young age. In 1996 he seized an opportunity of moving to the US, It was in Los Angeles California that DJ MIKE gained global knowledge in multiple genres of music but his passion for Latin Music (SALSA, BACHATA, CHA CHA CHA, GUAGUANCO, SON MONTUNO, MAMBO, GUAJIRA, BOOGALOO) was indescribable. In 2011, a year after moving to Atlanta GA, DJ MIKE began his career. Shortly thereafter and after gaining popularity with the latin dance community, several event organizers noticed his passion for latin music, his sense of musicality but most importantly the ability to read the crowd and build up the energy on the dance floor with his choice of music. DJ MIKE has spun as a Guest DJ in many Clubs, Dance Socials, Festivals and Congresses in the US and abroad. He is currently the Organizer and DJ of TUMBAO DANCE SOCIAL hosted every 2nd Saturdays of the month, BACHATuesdays hosted every 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday of the month, THE ATLANTA SALSA AND BACHATA FESTIVAL hosted once a year in the month of March and BACHATA LOVE CONGRESS hosted once a year during ThanksGiving Weekend. DJ MIKE is still Djing in various Latin Festivals, Congresses, Clubs and Dance Socials nationally and internationally.
